General: mechanistic multi-scale modelling of the evolution and dynamics of pathogens and cancer.

A postdoctoral position is available in theoretical and computational biology of pathogens at the University of Pierre and Marie Curie, Paris. We seek a talented, motivated individual skilled in analytic mathematics, especially in approximate methods. Successful candidate should have prior experience in modeling biological systems. PhD in any area of applied mathematics (physics, ecology, genetics) is required, preferably within 2 to 10 years. The candidate will join a new group working on theory and experimental applications of evolution and immunology of pathogens.
